Privacy Notice
How Ross & Sons Digital LTD handles personal data in Pigman Farm Defenders.
Last updated: 3 August 2026
Who we are
Ross & Sons Digital LTD operates Pigman Farm Defenders and is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. That means we decide why and how your personal data is used.
What we collect and why
- Account details (email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, display name, and Google account profile basics if you sign in with Google) — to create and secure your account and let you sign in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Game progress (barn coins, unlocked weapons and outfits, waves cleared, animals saved, last area played, ad-free status) — so your farm follows you across devices. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Purchase records (which items you bought, subscription status and period dates, and the payment provider's customer and transaction identifiers) — to grant what you paid for and support your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract and our legal obligations. We do not receive or store your card details.
- Technical and security data (IP address, device and browser information, and error logs) — to keep the game running, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems. Legal basis: our legitimate interests in a secure, working service.
- Advertising data — the free version of the game displays advertising. Where advertising involves non-essential tracking, we ask for your consent first. Legal basis: consent.
Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, and authentication providers that run the game infrastructure on our behalf.
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of digital items, subscription management, payments, invoicing, and tax compliance.
- Advertising partners, where advertising is shown in the free version.
- Professional advisers (legal and accounting) and authorities, where we are required to share by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of our providers process data outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
We keep account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account and progress data, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons (typically purchase records for up to seven years). Technical logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA and are unhappy with our response, you can complain to your local data protection supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
Children
Pigman Farm Defenders is family-friendly, but accounts and purchases are intended for adults or for children with a parent or guardian's involvement. If you believe a child has created an account without consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential storage in your browser to keep you signed in and to save game progress on your device — the game does not work without it. Any analytics or advertising cookies are non-essential and are only used with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through your browser settings. Buying the Ad-Free Farm upgrade or an active Farm Pass removes advertising from the game.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and database rules that stop players from reading each other's accounts. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and review our measures regularly.
